Richard "Dick" Hillman 

Richard "Dick" Austin Hillman, 72, of Beaufort died Feb. 14, 2009, at Pitt County Memorial Hospital in Greenville.

A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 21, 2009, at Ann Street United Methodist Church with the Revs. Eric N. Lindblade Jr. and Anne Walker Sims officiating.

He earned his bachelor of arts degree from Bowdoin College in Maine, his MBA from Columbia University in New York, was executive director for the Malignant Hyperthermia Association of the United States and an active church, choir and rotary member.

Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Barbara Woods Hillman; two daughters, Kimberly Hughes and Deb Barrett; a son, Carter Hillman; and seven grandchildren.
