The following anesthetic agents are known triggers of MH:

  • Inhaled General Anesthetics
  • Desflurane
  • Enflurane
  • Ether
  • Halothane
  • Isoflurane
  • Methoxyflurane
  • Sevoflurane
  • Succinylcholine (warning)

All other anesthetic agents not in the above categories of volatile anesthetic agents and depolarizing muscle relaxants are considered safe.
