i have just a simple question i had surgery back in 1999 and had an episode with mh i was an out patience and had to be rushed to a near by hosptial which they wasnt sure i was going to make it through the first 24 hrs. . i was hopeing that someone might be experenig sever headaches when you cough or bend forward just wondering if this could be part or something from the mh that i suffered with long ago.any answers would be greatly appreciated. thanks

I would like to know about this also. I did not have an episode, I was lucky enough to be tested before a scheduled surgery and was sent for the muscle biopsy. But I do get headaches and sometimes when coughing. I have also coughed so hard when sick that my thigh muscles hurt very bad while coughing.

I have severe headaches. I recommend you get a consult with a nuerologist for medical studies to help find a cause to your headaches.

i have been going to a neurologist and they told me i have pressure in my head and gave me medication for a migraine it has worked some but still suffering from this coughing spell / headache that only last when coughing plus bending over or going to lie down any one else having these symptoms would love to here from you and how you are dealing with this thanks.
