My son was diagnosed with Pseudocholinesterase syndrome. Is this the same as MH? It seems to act that way.

Pseudocholinesterase is an enzyme that breaks down the drug succinylcholine. If the enzyme is abnormal or lacking due to an DNA change the patient will experience several hours of paralysis from succinylcholine rather than the normal five minutes. The problem is not related to MH.
